Steve Griffin

Meet Steve Griffin – Chief Assessor and Delegate
Steve Griffin is Australia’s most experienced UOC/ReOC assessor, with over 1,800 assessments since 2015 and 35+ years in aviation. His diverse experience includes roles as a Chief Remote Pilot, Chief Pilot, and CASA RPAS Inspector, along with expertise in aircraft maintenance and operations.
A lifelong aeromodeller, Steve holds a Remote Pilot License (RePL) with ratings across multiple aircraft types. He also supports complex BVLOS operations, combining technical expertise with practical insight to guide the drone community.

Meet Adam Spranklin – RPAS Specialist and Aviation Student
Adam Spranklin combines academic knowledge with hands-on expertise in drone operations. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Aviation at Griffith University, Adam has 5 years of experience using drones and holds a 7 kg Remote Pilot License (RePL) and an Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate (AROC).
With a passion for aviation and a commitment to excellence, Adam excels in both technical and operational aspects of RPAS, ensuring safe and effective drone applications in various industries.
